All of my backup people in this workout participated in the AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR. 6th Training Exercise (35 Minutes) This is where the magic happens. We put everything together and you now have a solid foundation to move on to other step workouts. You are a Step Hero! Description: You’ll begin this workout with a march on the floor behind your step bench. All the moves in this workout will keep your body facing forward for the entire time. Learn foundational step moves: Basics and V-step. You’ll begin with your right leg as your lead leg or in other words, you’ll be in a Right, Left, Right, Left moving pattern following along with the beat of the music. Eventually, you’ll switch to your left leg as your lead leg, where you’ll be in a Left, Right, Left, Right moving pattern again following along with the tempo of the music. This will keep your body muscularly balanced, which is a huge benefit of step. Next, lift steps will be introduced: Knee Lifts, Ham Curls, Front Kicks, Leg Back (arabesque), and Side Legs.
